AI Boom Fuels Madison Air's $3.3B Revenue Ahead of IPO
10 Mar
Summary
- Madison Air achieved $3.34 billion in net sales for 2025.
- The company plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under "MAIR".
- Demand for advanced cooling systems is driven by AI and cloud growth.

Madison Air Solutions has publicly filed for its U.S. initial public offering, revealing a substantial increase in revenue for the year ending December 31, 2025. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning company reported net sales of $3.34 billion, a notable rise from $2.62 billion in the previous year. Its net income for 2025 stood at $124.3 million.
The company's strong performance is significantly bolstered by the increasing demand for advanced cooling systems. This heightened need stems from the rapid growth in data centers, essential for supporting artificial intelligence and cloud computing advancements, which require robust thermal management for power-intensive servers.
Madison Air, whose popular brands include Nortek Air Solutions and Nortek Data Center Cooling, provides air quality and thermal management products tailored for commercial, industrial, and data center applications. The commercial sector constituted the majority of its sales, accounting for 66% last year, with the residential segment making up the remainder.
While the specifics of the offering size and terms were not disclosed, a January report suggested Madison Air might aim to raise at least $2 billion. The company, which confidentially filed in December, is slated to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "MAIR". This development occurs as the broader IPO market experiences increased volatility, though opportunities remain for selective investors.
