Madhur Knit Crafts IPO: ₹53 Cr Funding for Growth

Madhur Knit Crafts, a manufacturer of blankets, knitted fabrics, and garments, is set to raise ₹53 crore through an initial public offering on the NSE Emerge platform. The company plans to issue 53.27 lakh equity shares within a price band of ₹95-₹100 per share, with anchor bidding commencing this Friday and the public subscription opening on Monday.

The net proceeds from this IPO are earmarked for significant investments, including capital expenditure for solar panel acquisition, the repayment of certain outstanding borrowings, and general corporate purposes. This strategic financial move is designed to further strengthen Madhur Knit Crafts' integrated textile manufacturing platform, which encompasses capabilities from yarn processing to finished textile products.

The IPO will facilitate further strengthening of operational capabilities, support increased working capital requirements, and enable investment in a rooftop solar power plant. This initiative underscores the company's commitment to improving energy efficiency and sustainability. The company offers a diverse portfolio, serving consumers, retailers, wholesalers, and the apparel and home textile segments, with a strong domestic focus bolstered by Ludhiana's textile ecosystem.

Ghanisht Nagpal of SKI Capital Services noted the company's strong growth, driven by its integrated manufacturing, diverse textile range, and experienced management. He anticipates the IPO will fuel the company's next growth phase, enhance its market visibility, and provide a platform for achieving long-term business objectives while maintaining operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
