Lyft has introduced its new subscription service, Lyft Go, which replaces the previous Lyft Pink offering. Available starting today in the US with a one-month free trial, Lyft Go costs $10 per month or $96 annually. This new plan integrates DoorDash's DashPass, providing members with discounts and lower fees on food delivery orders.
Subscribers to Lyft Go receive eight percent of each ride fare back as credits, capped at $40 per month. These credits can be applied to future rides or DoorDash orders. The service also includes three 'relaxed cancellations' each month, allowing users to cancel and rebook a ride within 15 minutes without a fee, with the fee returned as credits.
Further benefits include waived fees for returning lost items and donation matching for the 'Round Up & Donate' option. A lower-tier, Lyft Go Core plan, without DashPass, is available for $5 per month, offering five percent ride credit back and donation matching. Lyft is migrating existing Lyft Pink subscribers to the new plan at their current price point.
