The company has partnered with Copperdrop Spirits for exclusive import and distribution, initially focusing on Delhi with its Island Lager and Pale Ale.

Founded in London in 1836, Lion Brewery co has historical ties to India, being an early producer of India Pale Ale. The current premium beer market in India, estimated at USD 4.5 billion in 2023, is driven by increasing urban incomes and a preference for craft options. Lion Brewery co sees strong potential for its heritage and quality offerings in this dynamic market, with plans to extend distribution to Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
