£1.50 Bus Fares Launch in Lincolnshire This December

Starting December 8th, Lincolnshire residents can enjoy bus journeys for just £1.50, as announced by the county council. This fare reduction will be available for routes serving Boston, Gainsborough, Louth, Mablethorpe, Skegness, Spalding, and Stamford. Additionally, select services in and out of Lincoln after 8 PM will also adopt the lower fare.
The council confirmed that these reduced rates are subsidized by the government's Bus Service Improvement Plan and are scheduled to continue until March 2027. This initiative goes beyond the national voluntary fare cap of £3, demonstrating a local commitment to affordable public transport.
