Li Auto Bets Big on Family-Ready L8 SUV

Li Auto has officially launched its revamped L8 SUV, a five-seat vehicle designed for families, with deliveries anticipated to commence shortly. The new L8 is offered in Ultra and Livis trims, priced at RMB369,800 and RMB429,800 respectively. This updated model features significant enhancements, including improved electric range and proprietary chip technology, aiming to rival high-end "9-series" SUVs.

The L8 continues to utilize Li Auto's distinctive extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) technology. This system pairs dual electric motors with a gasoline-powered range extender, offering drivers the advantages of electric power while alleviating concerns about charging on longer trips. This approach helps Li Auto stand out in China's highly competitive electric vehicle market.
