- Lego's first-half revenue surged 21% to $6.5 billion.
- Operating profit increased by 22%, reaching $1.7 billion.
- New partnerships and product lines drove significant consumer demand.

In the first half of 2026, Lego reported record financial performance, achieving 41.9 billion Danish kroner (approximately $6.5 billion) in revenue, a 21% increase year-over-year. Operating profit also saw a substantial rise of 22%, reaching 10.9 billion Danish kroner ($1.7 billion), with net profit climbing an impressive 32% to 8.6 billion Danish kroner. These results demonstrate Lego's ability to outpace the global toy market and gain market share.
The company's success is credited to a broad product portfolio that offers something for everyone, coupled with culturally relevant brand experiences driving global demand. Lego introduced 332 new sets during this period, with popular themes including Speed Champions, Botanicals, Technic, Icons, and Star Wars. Furthermore, the introduction of the LEGO SMART Play platform and new partnerships, such as with Pokémon and sporting events, attracted new consumers and strengthened loyalty among existing ones.
Lego's operational footprint also expanded, with the company now managing 1,106 branded stores worldwide. Cash flow from operating activities increased by 47%, and significant investments were made in acquiring 29 Lego and Legoland Discovery Centres. Capital spending on factory expansion and upgrades continued, including progress on a new factory and distribution center in Virginia, set to open in 2027, and the inauguration of a large manufacturing innovation center in Billund, Denmark.
On the sustainability front, Lego commenced construction of its largest solar park in Billund in June. This facility, expected to be operational in 2027, will feature 160,000 solar panels capable of producing 99 gigawatt-hours annually, underscoring the company's commitment to renewable energy.
