17 Sep
Summary
- Revenue declined 13%, but net income grew 16% year-over-year.
- Operating margin expanded significantly despite lower factory volumes.
- LCI Industries announced a merger with Patrick Industries.

LCI Industries (NYSE:LCII) revealed a complex second-quarter performance on August 5, 2026. While revenue saw a 13% decrease to $968.7 million compared to the previous year, the company achieved a notable 16% increase in net income, reaching $67.1 million ($2.75 per diluted share). This divergence was attributed to a 200 basis point expansion in operating margin, reaching 9.9%, and strong growth in its Aftermarket segment, which increased sales by 10% to $293.9 million.
Despite a challenging RV market, with wholesale shipment forecasts for North America lowered to 280,000-300,000 units for full-year 2026, LCI Industries is pursuing strategic expansion. The company has entered into an all-stock merger agreement with Patrick Industries. This move aims to create a larger, diversified component platform catering to the outdoor recreation, housing, and transportation industries.
LCI Industries also reported paying off its remaining $92 million in convertible notes and maintained substantial liquidity of $812 million at the quarter's end. However, the company continues to face cost pressures from materials and freight, impacting its Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) segment. The merger with Patrick Industries is expected to navigate these challenges and position LCI for future growth beyond the current RV cycle.
