Kusumgar IPO Secures ₹193.9 Cr from Anchor Investors

Kusumgar Limited, a manufacturer of engineered fabrics, has successfully garnered ₹193.9 crore from anchor investors just before its initial public offering. This substantial funding was achieved by allocating 4,628,877 equity shares at ₹419 per share to these key investors, including prominent institutions like BlackRock Global Funds and Goldman Sachs Funds.

The company's upcoming IPO is structured as an entirely Offer for Sale (OFS), aiming to raise ₹650 crore through the sale of 1.55 crore equity shares by its promoters. While Kusumgar Limited will not receive any proceeds from this public offering, it anticipates that the listing will enhance its brand visibility and offer liquidity to its current shareholders. The company's diverse product portfolio caters to aerospace, defense, industrial, automotive, and outdoor lifestyle markets.

All six of Kusumgar Limited's manufacturing facilities are strategically located in Gujarat. The company's financial performance shows revenue of ₹467.9 crore in FY24, ₹779 crore in FY25, and ₹692 crore in FY26. Profitability saw an increase from ₹84.40 crore in FY24 to ₹112 crore in FY25, with a slight decrease to ₹98.20 crore in FY26.

Axis Capital, IIFL Capital Services, and Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors are serving as the book-running lead managers for the IPO, with Bigshare Services acting as the registrar. Investors are permitted to bid for a minimum of 35 equity shares, with subsequent bids in multiples of 35.
