Anticipating a surge in travel for Ugadi and Ramzan, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is deploying 2,000 special buses. These additional services will operate from March 18 to March 20, originating from Bengaluru and other key hubs across the state. Return journeys are scheduled for March 22, facilitating travel back to the city after the festive weekend.
These special buses will connect Bengaluru with numerous destinations within Karnataka, including popular spots like Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, and coastal cities. Services will also extend to out-of-state destinations such as Tirupati, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad. Advance booking is highly recommended to avoid inconvenience during this busy period.
KSRTC is offering incentives to encourage early bookings. A 5% discount is available for group bookings of four or more passengers. Furthermore, passengers who book both their outbound and return tickets simultaneously will receive a 10% discount on the return fare. These measures aim to make festive travel more affordable and convenient for all passengers.
