Kia India has enhanced its Carens Clavis MPV with the MY26 update, introducing new GT-Line and X-Line trims designed to offer a stronger SUV-inspired appeal.
These new variants feature distinct styling elements, such as gloss black accents for GT-Line and exclusive dark gun metal finishes for X-Line. The X-Line also offers a six-seater configuration with captain seats. Both trims are available with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and are priced below Rs 20 lakh for select configurations.
Kia has also upgraded mid-level trims, equipping the HTK+ with an electric sunroof and adding panoramic sunroofs, LED headlamps, and dashcams to the HTK+(O) and above. A significant safety enhancement is the introduction of Level 2 ADAS in the new HTX(O)A variant, making advanced driver assistance systems accessible in sub-Rs 20 lakh turbo-petrol models.
Further improvements include the addition of Idle Stop-Go (ISG) technology for better fuel efficiency. The MY26 Carens Clavis range now starts at Rs 11.20 lakh and goes up to Rs 21.57 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a more versatile and premium package in the competitive MPV segment.
