This significant contract mandates the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 505 on-board Kavach loco equipment units. The project is expected to be completed within a 12-month timeframe from the issuance of the purchase order. This development follows a recent announcement where Kernex Microsystems, as part of a joint venture, secured a ₹21.03 crore contract for upgrading the Kavach safety system on the Bidar - Parli Vaijnath section for South Central Railways.
The company's shares concluded trading at ₹1,233.15 on the BSE, marking a 3.05% increase. This latest order underscores Kernex Microsystems' growing role in enhancing railway safety infrastructure across India.
