Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan recently inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for the HiLITE Cyber Tower, HiLITE Group's ambitious IT hub situated in Calicut, Kerala. This development is poised to significantly reshape the technological landscape of the Malabar region.
The Grade A commercial building, part of a larger plan by HiLITE Group to develop 12 million square feet of office space, represents a Rs 600 crore investment. It is designed to attract multinational corporations, start-ups, and R&D centers.
This initiative is expected to generate over 10,000 direct IT employment opportunities within two years of its completion. The government aims to establish Calicut as a major IT destination, on par with Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
The Cyber Tower will feature smart, sustainable, and energy-efficient infrastructure, offering flexible workspaces to foster global collaboration and innovation. This project builds on HiLITE Group's existing IT developments in Kerala, including ongoing construction in Calicut and a recently launched IT park in Trivandrum.
