Airport operations at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport have resumed following the conclusion of a strike by airport workers. The Kenya Aviation Workers Union (KAWU) initiated the labor action on Monday. This dispute was with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
The strike caused major disruptions at one of Africa's busiest air transport hubs. However, the situation has now been resolved. KAWU reached an agreement with the transport ministry, leading to the immediate calling off of the industrial action.
