KEC Profit Dips Despite Revenue Surge

KEC International announced its Q3FY26 financial results on January 30, 2026, revealing a marginal 1.6% year-on-year decrease in consolidated net profit to ₹127.5 crore.
Despite the profit dip, the company demonstrated robust operational performance. Revenue from operations surged by 12.2% to ₹6,001 crore, bolstered by strong execution across its diverse projects. EBITDA also saw a healthy increase of 15% to ₹430.3 crore.
The company's profitability was impacted by exceptional items amounting to ₹58.8 crore, primarily related to employee benefit obligations arising from the implementation of new labor codes. This affected the reported net profit figure.
For the nine months ending December 31, 2025, KEC International's revenue grew to ₹17,116 crore, and net profit increased to ₹412.8 crore. The EPC segment remains the primary revenue driver, supported by traction in transmission, railways, and civil infrastructure.
