The Z1100 replaces the long-discontinued Z1000 and arrives with a larger 1,099 cc engine that produces 136 hp. The model is built around an aluminum frame shared with the Ninja 1100SX and has a kerb weight of 221 kg, the same as its international version.
Kawasaki has equipped the Z1100 with advanced rider aids and a thoroughly modern design, staying true to the brand's Sugomi design philosophy. The new supernaked motorcycle will compete directly against the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP in the Indian market.
