The Government of Karnataka, through its Electronics and IT Department and the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, hosted 'KATALYST CONNECT' on Wednesday in Bengaluru. This strategic consultation, part of the KATALYST EODB initiative for GCCs, brought together over 150 multinational enterprise executives and senior government officials.
Key government representatives, including Home and IT Minister Priyank M Kharge and IT Secretary Dr N Manjula, participated. Earlier, Chief Minister D K Shivakumar visited Target's Bengaluru campus, engaging with leadership on their capabilities in technology, AI, and more.
The consultation aimed to bolster government-industry collaboration, stimulate AI and R&D innovation, and encourage GCC investments outside Bengaluru. Industry leaders provided recommendations on talent, infrastructure, and policy.
Chief Minister Shivakumar affirmed Karnataka's commitment to being a hub for future technologies. Minister Kharge emphasized the state's role in providing the necessary talent and policy environment for GCCs evolving into global innovation centers.
