Kamat Hotels (India) experienced a notable decline in its financial performance during the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. The company's consolidated net profit saw a substantial decrease of 33.19%, falling to Rs 17.30 crore compared to Rs 26.18 crore in the same period last year.
Despite the profit dip, Kamat Hotels reported an 11.64% increase in revenue from operations, reaching Rs 117.74 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 105.46 crore in Q3 FY25. However, this growth was overshadowed by a significant 29.19% rise in total expenses year-over-year, amounting to Rs 92.88 crore.
Looking at the nine-month period ending in Q3 FY26, the company's consolidated net profit decreased by 49.43% to Rs 18 crore, compared to Rs 35.60 crore in the prior year's equivalent period. Revenue from operations for the nine months, however, showed a modest increase of 4.12% to Rs 275.51 crore.
