During the Neftegaz 2026 exhibition in Moscow, the Kalashnikov Group engaged in discussions with representatives from multiple Middle Eastern countries regarding their drone offerings. The company reported that the Legioner, a modern vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), garnered the most attention from these potential international customers.
The Legioner is designed for a wide array of functions, including aerial photography, laser scanning, video monitoring, cargo transport, and fire patrols. It comes with options for electric or gasoline engines and can be equipped with additional specialized gear. This UAV features a flight range of 550 km and an endurance exceeding five hours, operating effectively in temperatures from -25 to +30 degrees Celsius with wind speeds up to 15 m/s, carrying payloads up to four kilograms.
Kalashnikov is presenting its comprehensive UAV solutions tailored for Russia's fuel and energy sector at the exhibition. Alongside the Legioner, the company is also displaying the Alpha-E unmanned helicopter and the Skat-350M reconnaissance drone.
