JSW Steel subsidiary wins bid for Colour Roof India

JSW Steel Coated Products Ltd has been confirmed as the successful resolution applicant for Colour Roof India Ltd. The Committee of Creditors approved the company's revised financial plan, submitted on May 13, 2026. This confirmation follows a National Company Law Tribunal order on April 13, 2026.
The tribunal had allowed the erstwhile promoter of Colour Roof India Ltd to submit a resolution plan and permitted other applicants to revise their financial plans. The implementation of JSW Steel's approved plan is pending final NCLT approval.
Separately, JSW Steel was declared the preferred bidder for the Pissurlem mineral block in Goa on May 7, 2026. This block holds an estimated 96 million tonnes of iron ore resource.
