Initially selling in local markets, her business grew, leading her to join the Palash initiative in 2020. As of 2026, Anita now earns Rs 30 lakh annually, owns a pucca house, and supports other women. Yashoda Devi, from Khunti, revitalized her family's traditional craft of making silver and mixed-metal tribal jewelry. After facing financial struggles, she formed a self-help group and partnered with JSLPS, finding success in her business.
Both women's stories highlight resilience and the impact of collective efforts through self-help groups and government support programs. They have not only achieved financial independence but have also become beacons of hope and empowerment for women in their regions, demonstrating that dedication and support can lead to remarkable success.
