Jet Fuel Price Surges Past Rs 2 Lakh Mark!

In Delhi, consumers are facing higher fuel costs as Indian Oil has increased the prices of its premium variants. The cost of XP100 petrol has risen by Rs 11 per litre, now priced at Rs 160. Additionally, the premium diesel, Xtra Green, now retails at Rs 92.99 per litre, a slight increase from its previous price.
Simultaneously, aviation turbine fuel (ATF) has experienced a dramatic price surge, more than doubling to Rs 2.07 lakh per kilolitre. This marks the first time ATF prices have crossed the Rs 2 lakh per kilolitre threshold. The previous record high was in 2022, when rates reached Rs 1.1 lakh per kilolitre amidst global oil price volatility.
