ITC Hotels Profit Soars 36%, Acquires Ahmedabad Property

ITC Hotels achieved a 36 percent rise in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, reporting Rs 181.91 crore. This substantial increase marks a significant improvement compared to the previous fiscal year's first quarter. The company's board has given the green light for the acquisition of GHK Hospitality & Infrastructures Ltd. This acquisition is valued at an enterprise value of Rs 155 crore.
The consolidated revenue from operations saw an increase, standing at Rs 936.02 crore in the first quarter. Expenses for the same period were Rs 750 crore. The hotel business itself generated Rs 881.06 crore in revenue, while the emerging branded residences vertical contributed Rs 37.77 crore. The acquisition of GHK Hospitality is expected to bolster ITC Hotels' presence in Ahmedabad, adding the 130-key Welcomhotel Ahmedabad to its owned-asset portfolio.
