12 Aug
Summary
- Approximately $7.6 billion in IPO shares become tradable soon.
- The unlocking period spans from August 12 to late September.
- Forty-five newly listed companies will see their lock-in periods expire.

A substantial amount of approximately $7.6 billion in shares from 45 recently listed companies will become eligible for trading between August 12 and late September. This event marks the expiration of post-IPO lock-in periods for promoters, anchor investors, and other pre-IPO shareholders.
The upcoming unlocks are poised to increase the supply of shares available in the market. From August 12 to the end of August, 19 companies will see their lock-in periods expire. Notable companies include JSW Cement, Fractal Analytics, and Shreeji Shipping Global, with unlocks valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.
In September, an additional 26 companies are scheduled for lock-in expiries. JSW Infrastructure leads this group with a $1.48 billion unlock, followed by SEDEMAC Mechatronics and Saatvik Green Energy. While these expiries enable potential divestment, they do not guarantee immediate selling activity but could impact stock prices.
