6 May
Summary
- Interio projects 25% revenue growth for FY27, targeting ₹10,000 crore by 2029.
- Organized furniture market in India is a small fraction of the ₹1.5 lakh crore total.
- Interio plans dynamic investment in capacity and footprint expansion.

Interio by Godrej is targeting a 25% revenue increase in the current financial year, ending March 2027. This move is part of a larger ambition to achieve ₹10,000 crore in revenue by 2029. The furniture brand closed FY26 with ₹4,000 crore in revenues, marking a similar 25% growth from the prior fiscal year.
The company recognizes the vast potential in India's furniture market, which is estimated at ₹1.5 lakh crore, with only about ₹8,000 crore currently in the organized sector. To capitalize on this, Interio plans to dynamically invest in scaling both its production capacity and its market footprint. Currently, it operates seven units in India and three international units catering to export markets.
Interio's distribution strategy includes a growing online presence, contributing about 11% to sales, while its 1,015 showrooms and 3,700 retail partners form the backbone of its offline sales. The brand is also focusing on specific markets like Tamil Nadu, where it expects ₹65 crore in revenues for FY27, largely from Chennai.
Despite global uncertainties like the Iran-US war, the impact on Interio's production has been minimal, with only a slight increase in input costs due to rising Polyethylene resin prices. The company continues to strengthen its position as an organized player in a burgeoning market.
