Info Edge India Ltd has announced a significant financial move, approving an investment of approximately ₹75 crore allocated between two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. This strategic allocation is set to bolster the operational capabilities and investment ventures of its subsidiaries.
The company will inject ₹5 crore into Smartweb Internet Services Ltd, a move aimed at supporting its funding requirements and strengthening its financial standing. Smartweb, incorporated in September 2015, operates in internet services and advisory roles, demonstrating a turnover of ₹41.39 crore and a profit after tax of ₹5.03 crore as of March 31, 2025.
Furthermore, Info Edge is committing about ₹70 crore to Startup Investments (Holding) Ltd (SIHL). This substantial investment is intended to aid SIHL in exploring diverse investment opportunities within the tech sector and for general corporate purposes. SIHL, established in March 2015, focuses on direct and indirect investments in technology companies.
