UCIL Boosts Mining for 'Vikshit Bharat' 2047

UCIL is expanding its operations beyond Jharkhand, with plans for new mining activities in other regions. This includes enhancing the Tummalapalle plant in Andhra Pradesh and securing environmental clearances for the Rohil project in Rajasthan's Sikar district.
Further, UCIL will utilize tailing ponds from Hindustan Copper Limited to extract and process uranium. A tender has also been floated for the Banduhurang opencast mine to augment production in Jaduguda and Turamdih mills.
