India's Infrastructure Output Stalls in October

The eight core industries, which collectively represent over 40% of India's industrial production, showed divergent trends. Coal production plummeted by 8.5%, and natural gas output decreased by 5%. Crude oil also saw a slight dip of 1.2%.
Conversely, sectors like steel and petroleum refineries demonstrated resilience. Steel output grew by 6.7%, and petroleum refinery products increased by 4.6%. Fertilizer production also contributed positively with a 7.4% rise.
