Bengaluru-based On Lawn Technology Solutions Limited has successfully developed and delivered India's first indigenous airport runway cleaning vehicle. This significant advancement in engineering innovation was officially handed over to Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) by Minister for Large and Medium Industries M.B. Patil.
Developed under the 'Make in India' initiative, this specialized vehicle is designed to bolster aviation safety. It effectively removes hazardous materials like nails and metal fragments, and also addresses issues such as dust and algae buildup that can compromise aircraft safety during landing and takeoff.
Minister Patil lauded the company's contribution to the industrial supply chain and encouraged them to explore export opportunities. He highlighted the supportive government policies and incentives available under the Industrial Policy 2025-30, further promoting indigenous manufacturing and high-value infrastructure equipment.
