Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has sanctioned two crucial railway infrastructure projects valued at ₹2,781 crore. These proposals from the Ministry of Railways are set to significantly boost capacity and connectivity in Gujarat and Maharashtra. The approved projects encompass the doubling of a 141 km stretch from Devbhumi Dwarka (Okha) to Kanalus and the addition of a third and fourth line over 32 km between Badlapur and Karjat.
