The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched its inaugural Bharat Gaurav tourist train service, extending its reach to Nepal. Dubbed the "Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra," this special train aims to enhance cross-border tourism and cultural exchange.
The journey is scheduled to commence from Indore on June 12, 2026, spanning 9 nights and 10 days. This all-inclusive package covers train travel, accommodation, meals, sightseeing, and transfers for travelers.
Key destinations on the itinerary include Kathmandu, renowned for the ancient Pashupatinath Temple, and Pokhara, a popular tourist hub. The trip also features a ropeway ride to the Manakamana Temple and a jeep safari in Chitwan National Park.
Passengers can board the semi-luxury train, equipped with air-conditioned coaches and restaurant cars, from various stations in Madhya Pradesh. Fares vary by class, with Third AC Comfort at approximately INR 62,710 per person.
