- This export was supported by the SMART project.
- The group aims to export 100 containers this season.
Agrivartan Agro Farmers Producer Company Ltd, located in Indapur, Pune district, has achieved a significant export milestone by shipping 20 tonnes of bananas to Dubai. This successful consignment was facilitated through a collaboration with Pure Planet India Pvt Ltd, with Palladium Consulting India Pvt Ltd providing essential transaction support and technical guidance.
The initiative was bolstered by the Hon Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART) project, which aims to strengthen farmer-led agribusiness models. Agrivartan FPC, in particular, has prepared 100 acres of land for producing export-quality bananas, with ambitions to export a total of 100 containers this season.
This export success not only validates the farmer-led agribusiness model in Maharashtra but also highlights the critical role of technical support agencies like Palladium Consulting. These agencies assist farmer-producer companies in navigating international markets, meeting export standards, and establishing sustainable commercial relationships.
