On November 17, 2025, the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India's largest hospitality firm, announced that it has signed definitive agreements to acquire a 51% stake in Sparsh Infratech Private Limited, the owning company of the luxury wellness brand Atmantan. The deal gives IHCL full ownership of the Atmantan brand and its proprietary wellness expertise, paving the way for expanding the platform in partnership with the brand's founding promoters.
Puneet Chhatwal, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, stated that the growing wellness tourism market is witnessing a convergence of health and hospitality, with an increasing number of travelers seeking immersive wellness experiences. By acquiring Atmantan, IHCL is marking its entry into the integrated wellness segment, leveraging Atmantan's holistic and unique wellness proposition and proven business model.
