IDFC FIRST Bank has unveiled its WOW! Black Credit Card, an enhanced version of its fixed deposit-backed secured credit card. This new offering aims to democratize access to premium credit card features, particularly for individuals seeking secure credit solutions. The card is now available for applications through the bank's digital channels.
The WOW! Black card uniquely combines a physical Mastercard with a virtual RuPay card enabled for UPI transactions, all managed under a single credit limit and consolidated billing. Key benefits include international spending without any foreign exchange markup fees, interest-free cash withdrawals until the payment due date, and reward points on everyday purchases and eligible UPI transactions.
Customers can apply for this card against a fixed deposit starting from ₹20,000. While there is an annual fee of ₹750 plus GST, it is waived from the second year for those who spend at least ₹1.5 lakh annually. The card also provides travel perks like airport lounge access and insurance coverage.
