Summary
- Donations funded children's coats and shoes in eastern Idaho.
- Game performance directly translated into charitable contributions.
- Partnerships supported over 5,000 coats and 2,800 shoes since 2019.

Mountain America Credit Union has recently made significant contributions to Operation Warm, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing new coats and shoes for underprivileged children. The credit union presented a total of $11,500, which was raised through special partnerships with Idaho State University Athletics and the Idaho Falls Spud Kings hockey team.
The charitable donations were directly linked to the athletic performance of these teams. Mountain America pledged $50 for every 3-point shot made by the Idaho State men's basketball team and an additional $50 for each goal scored by the Spud Kings. These efforts successfully yielded $6,000 and $5,500, respectively.
The funds will be used to support children in eastern Idaho, providing them with essential winter wear and footwear. This initiative underscores Mountain America's ongoing commitment to enhancing the communities it serves by fostering vital partnerships.
Nathan Anderson, chief operating officer at Mountain America Credit Union, expressed gratitude, stating that "each basket and each goal help create something meaningful for children in our communities." Since 2019, Mountain America has supported Operation Warm through various programs, contributing over 5,000 coats and 2,800 pairs of shoes to children across the Mountain West region as of April 2026.
