The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Dubai Chapter has announced its newly elected Executive Committee, with Rishi Chawla appointed as Chairman. He will be supported by Amit Khaitan as Vice Chairman, Aashna Mulgaonkar as Secretary, and Sanjay Gagarani as Treasurer. Other committee members include Vijaya Mohan, Dixit Jain, Mahendra Khiani, Ugamoorthy T, and Manish Saraf.
Established in 1982, the ICAI Dubai Chapter is the largest, most active, and award-winning among the 54 overseas chapters of ICAI. It currently serves over 3,200 members from more than 1,550 multinational and other companies in the region.
Chairman Rishi Chawla expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the new committee. The committee's focus will be on addressing members' evolving challenges through enhanced industry connections and practical insights, while also fostering entrepreneurship and leadership in the UAE's supportive business landscape. The parent body, ICAI, is a statutory body established in 1949 and is recognized globally for its high standards. It is the second largest accounting body worldwide, with a presence in 85 cities across 47 countries.
