Hyundai Motor India has officially released images of the India-spec Hyundai Bayon, building anticipation for its upcoming launch. The new SUV is scheduled to arrive on October 26, 2026, and bookings are currently being accepted for a token amount of Rs 11,000.
This 4.2-metre SUV will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, delivering 115 bhp and 144 Nm of torque. Customers will have the choice between a 6-speed manual gearbox or an advanced IVT automatic transmission for their driving preference.
The exterior design is marked by a distinctive H-Edge LED light bar and practical roof rails, complemented by wrap-around body cladding. Inside, the Bayon impresses with dual curved displays, and Hyundai promises an integrated generative AI voice assistant alongside more than 70 connected Bluelink features.
