Honda's New 501cc Retro Bike Launched in India

Honda has introduced its all-new CB500 motorcycle, a 501cc retro-styled bike inspired by the iconic CB750. This model is set to fill a gap in the Indian market for larger-displacement, air-cooled single-cylinder motorcycles.
The CB500 is powered by a new 501cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 27 horsepower and 43.3Nm of torque, putting its torque output close to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. It features a five-speed gearbox and is designed with classic cues such as a round LED headlight and a teardrop fuel tank.
Modern technology is integrated with features like Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a slipper clutch, and an analogue-digital instrument console with Honda RoadSync connectivity. The motorcycle will be available in three variants.
Manufactured locally in India, Honda aims to price the CB500 competitively. It is expected to challenge rivals like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and BSA Gold Star 650 in the midsize retro motorcycle segment.
