A large Home Depot store is slated to open next year adjacent to a Costco in Cypress, Texas, enhancing the retail landscape along the Grand Parkway. This new Home Depot will complement a Costco warehouse, also under construction at the Grand Mason development. The Costco, spanning 160,000 square feet with an 11,680-square-foot fuel station, is expected to be finished by November, with a total estimated cost exceeding $64.5 million for the warehouse and $3.3 million for the fuel station.
NewQuest, the marketing firm for the Grand Mason project, anticipates developing approximately 400 acres for various commercial uses, including retail, dining, and entertainment. The area's substantial residential growth, with nearly 485,000 people living within a 7-mile radius, is a primary catalyst for this extensive development.
