Hilton Milwaukee has completed a sweeping $42 million renovation, its most extensive remodeling to date. The historic property in downtown Milwaukee now features 554 fully updated guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of enhanced meeting and event facilities. The design thoughtfully preserves original elements like crystal chandeliers and marble floors while introducing modern amenities.
Guest rooms have been outfitted with new furnishings, Art Deco-inspired lighting, and upgraded climate control systems. Bathrooms were updated with marble surfaces and new Kohler fixtures. Public spaces, including The Monarch Lounge, also received significant upgrades, featuring new carpeting and a fireplace alongside existing classic design touches.
Originally opening as the Schroeder Hotel in 1928, the Hilton Milwaukee is a treasured icon managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts since 1972. This renovation aims to honor its near-century legacy while welcoming a new generation of visitors, ensuring its continued prominence in Milwaukee's vibrant landscape.
