HFCL shares have demonstrated remarkable strength, climbing for the fifth consecutive trading day and accumulating over 22% in gains during this period. This upward momentum is fueled by renewed buying interest observed over the past two months, with trading volumes corroborating an ongoing uptrend. Analysts highlight that the stock has moved from a base breakout into a momentum extension phase. The technical structure remains favorable as long as HFCL sustains its position above the breakout band around Rs 150 to Rs 155 on a closing basis.
Financially, HFCL reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 178.50 crore for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2026. This marks a significant improvement compared to a net loss of Rs 81.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Net sales also saw a substantial year-on-year surge of 128%, reaching Rs 1,824 crore. On a sequential basis, profit increased by 82% from the prior quarter, and revenue grew by 51% quarter-on-quarter.
Institutional investors show mixed sentiment. Mutual fund holdings saw a slight increase from 6.68% to 6.92% in the March 2026 quarter. However, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) marginally reduced their stake from 7.48% to 7.08% during the same period. Despite this, the overall technical picture suggests sustained buying momentum, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) nearing 78.
