HCL Technologies, India's third-largest IT firm, reported strong financial results for its fourth quarter ending March 31, 2026. The company's consolidated profit saw a year-on-year increase of 4.20%, reaching ₹4,488 crore. This performance was achieved amidst an uncertain demand environment, as noted by CEO and Managing Director C Vijayakumar.
Revenue from operations for the quarter grew by 12.35% year-on-year to ₹33,981 crore. While revenue in constant currency saw a 2.4% YoY increase, it declined 3.3% quarter-on-quarter. Vijayakumar acknowledged that performance was below expectations due to softness in specific business segments, attributed to reduced discretionary spending and delayed decision-making by clients.
The company is placing a significant emphasis on artificial intelligence. Annualized revenues from its Advanced AI service offerings have now crossed $620 million. HCL Tech’s top priority for the upcoming fiscal year, FY27, is to capitalize on AI opportunities for long-term value creation.
