Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Profits Surge 264% Despite Sales Dip

In the quarter ended September 2025, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation experienced a significant increase in its net profit, even as its sales declined. The company's net profit rose by 264.27% to reach Rs 465.75 crore, compared to Rs 127.86 crore in the previous quarter ended September 2024.
However, the company's sales declined by 11.03% to Rs 527.58 crore in the quarter ended September 2025, down from Rs 593.01 crore in the previous quarter. This drop in sales led to a decrease in the company's operating profit margin, which fell from 23.68% to 13.10% during the same period.
Despite the sales decline, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation was able to maintain strong profitability, with its profit before tax (PBT) reaching Rs 154.91 crore, down 15% from the previous quarter's Rs 181.21 crore. The company's profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) also decreased by 13% to Rs 176.70 crore, compared to Rs 202.13 crore in the previous quarter.
