Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has reported a provisional and unaudited annual turnover of Rs 6,400 crore for FY26, marking a significant increase from the previous fiscal year. This financial milestone was accompanied by the successful delivery of eight vessels to the Indian Navy, comprising two Project 17A frigates, two Survey Vessel Large ships, and four Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Crafts.
The shipyard's production prowess was highlighted by the simultaneous delivery of three warships, including the frigate Dunagiri, on a single day. GRSE is also in the advanced stages of constructing five Next Generation Corvettes for the Indian Navy. Beyond naval vessels, the company is engaged in building research ships, hybrid ferries, and commercial vessels.
GRSE continues to be a pioneer in manufacturing prefabricated steel bridges, having launched an innovative Modular Foot Suspension Bridge. Furthermore, the company has advanced its technological capabilities by inaugurating a Next Generation Virtual Reality (NGVR) Lab and signing several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with key industry players. These strategic collaborations aim to foster innovation and expand GRSE's footprint in defence manufacturing.
