Godrej Enterprises Group's Energy Solutions business anticipates closing FY26 with ₹1,600 crore in revenue and a ₹2,600 crore order book, aiming to reach ₹3,000 crore by FY27. The business's order pipeline is expected to grow approximately 20% annually. This growth is fueled by its power infrastructure unit, which focuses on large-scale substation projects, including high-voltage installations up to 765 kV. The company has established itself as a top-three player in the substation segment, serving major utilities and private developers.
The company is also enhancing its capabilities in gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) technology and is now fully equipped for 765 kV greenfield projects. Beyond substations, Godrej Energy is expanding its solar EPC operations, having executed significant projects and secured new orders in the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment. Future strategic focuses include floating solar, rooftop solar, and developing capabilities for battery energy storage systems as the Indian market matures.
Godrej's expansion strategy targets four key segments: transmission for central utilities, data centers requiring robust substations, traction substations for railways, and large-scale solar projects. This multi-pronged approach positions the company for significant growth within India's evolving energy sector, responding to increasing industrial and commercial adoption of renewable energy driven by sustainability and regulatory demands.
