Summary
- Roadwork on Gyani Border-Mohan Nagar stretch to finish in 15 days.

- Utility pole removal deadline is ten days for uninterrupted progress.
Roadwork on the critical Gyani Border-Mohan Nagar stretch in Ghaziabad is slated for completion within 15 days, promising much-needed relief for daily commuters. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar issued a directive for the priority completion of all outstanding bituminous work. This includes ensuring the CC road beneath Shahid Nagar metro station is developed to its full sanctioned width.
Mandar's inspection also revealed that obstructions such as electricity poles and overhead municipal signage are impeding widening efforts on the Delhi-Kanpur Road. Concerned departments have been given a strict 10-day deadline to remove these obstacles. This measure aims to prevent further delays to the road project.
The DM emphasized the importance of meeting prescribed quality standards for all road repairs and widening activities. He also stressed the need for immediate commencement of CC road work under the Shyam Park metro station, which serves several residential areas. This coordinated effort is expected to significantly improve traffic flow in the trans-Hindon region.
