Gas Prices Plunge Nationwide as Oil Production Rises

The most expensive gasoline markets remain California, Hawaii, and Washington, with averages of $4.64, $4.44, and $4.05 per gallon, respectively. In contrast, Oklahoma boasts the nation's lowest average at $2.63, closely followed by Arkansas and Texas at $2.56.
As the busy summer travel season comes to a close, industry analysts expect gas prices to continue their downward trajectory in the latter half of the year, providing further relief for American consumers.
