Force Motors Limited announced robust domestic sales growth of 20 percent for the financial year 2025-26, reaching 36,536 units compared to 30,531 units in the previous year. This expansion was significantly boosted by strong demand in passenger mobility segments and consistent performance in institutional and defence businesses. The flagship Force Traveller van further solidified its dominance, retaining over 70 percent market share in the light commercial vehicle segment, a testament to its utility in school transport and ambulance services.
The Force Urbania van saw remarkable growth exceeding 100 percent, gaining traction with fleet operators and institutions due to its comfort and cost-efficiency. The Force Trax platform also experienced over 70 percent volume growth, driven by increasing demand in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets, partly attributed to GST rationalisation. Furthermore, the Special Vehicle Division successfully supplied the first batch of 600 Force Gurkha units to the Indian Army, underscoring the company's capabilities in defence applications.
Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors, highlighted the company's focused business strategy and leadership in key segments. He noted the Force Urbania's role in premium shared mobility and the Trax platform's contribution to national connectivity. Additionally, Force Motors reported a 13 percent increase in its export business for four-wheelers, with a close watch maintained on the evolving geopolitical situation in Gulf markets.
