5 Feb
Summary
- FLY91 leased two aircraft to support its regional expansion plans.
- One new aircraft will be based in Goa, the other in Hyderabad.
- The airline's fleet has grown to four aircraft, serving nine destinations.

Regional airline FLY91 is set to expand its operations with the recent leasing of two new aircraft. These additions are part of long-term operating agreements designed to bolster the airline's regional network. The first of these new planes entered service in December 2025, with the second delivered in January 2026 and commencing operations in February. This brings FLY91's total fleet size to four aircraft.
These new aircraft will support the airline's dual-hub strategy, with one based at its home base in Goa and the other operating out of Hyderabad. This strategic placement aims to enhance connectivity across its regional route network.
The expansion aligns with the growing demand in India's regional aviation market, supported by government policies like the UDAN scheme. FLY91 currently serves nine destinations and plans to increase this to 15 by the first quarter of 2026. The airline anticipates two additional aircraft joining its fleet by the end of the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.
