In celebration of National First Responders Day on October 28th, Firehouse Subs is launching a special line of plush toys. These toys are designed to honor three remarkable K-9 heroes serving in their communities. The collection features a golden retriever, a Dalmatian, and a German shepherd, each representing a different aspect of first responder work.
The plushies are available for $9.95 each, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. This foundation has a history of providing vital equipment to first responders, having awarded over $112 million since 2005.
The honored K-9s include Stone, a Search and Rescue golden retriever who assisted in major disaster responses like the Surfside condominium collapse and Maui wildfires. Ember, a Dalmatian, serves as a Community Hero and fire safety ambassador for the Sevierville Fire Department. Echo, a German shepherd acquired through a foundation grant, aids the Sartell Police Department in locating missing persons and detecting threats.
